Various issues raised by the KRA before the government for the Kuki community residing in the autonomous district were explained in details. The KRA leader admitted that they have returned to the mainstream eschewing the path of violence expecting to get solution of the long-standing demands of Kuki people through peaceful and democratic means.

He also mentioned that some vicious elements with the help of vested interests are trying to derail the efforts of the peace loving and law-abiding KRA which is unfortunate.
