Scribes’ dharna in Arunachal

 ITANAGAR, July 19 – Media personnel in Arunachal Pradesh today held a dharna before the State Assembly demanding immediate arrest of those involved in the attack on a woman journalist here last Sunday.

Around 1,000 people, expressing solidarity with the journalists, joined the dharna when voting for the presidential election was going on inside the House.

The protesters shouted anti-government slogans and demanded immediate arrest of those involved in firing at Tongam Rina, Associate Editor of Arunachal Times.
