 IMPHAL, July 13 - In all, 21 Nepalese women left Imphal for their hometown in Nepal on Sunday in a bus along with security personnel and representatives of the Nepalese Embassy, Social Welfare Department officials here informed.

 Out of these 21 women of Nepal origin, 20 are suspected victims of human trafficking while one was a mentally ill woman, said Ngangom Uttam Singh, Director of the Social Welfare Department in a press release on Sunday.

“They were handed over to Prakash Adhikari, Counsellor, Embassy of Nepal.”
