61 discharged in Mizoram

 AIZAWL, June 30 - As many as 61 more COVID-19 positive persons were discharged from hospitals in Mizoram today following their recovery. This has brought the number of active cases down to 29. With no new case found in the last 24 hours, the State’s COVID-19 tally has remained at 151.

 An official source said 531 samples tested at the Zoram Medical College laboratory on Monday came back negative, while the results of 44 samples were awaited.

In the morning, eight patients were discharged from the Dedicated Covid Health Centre (DCHC) in Mamit district. At noon, 45 patients of Lunglei district DCHC and eight of the Zoram Medical College here were discharged.

Mizoram has reported a total of 151 cases of COVID-19, of which 29 are active cases and 122 have already recovered.
