Arrested murder accused brought to Gogamukh
NORTH LAKHIMPUR, Jan 6 - The prime accused in the sensational Hiranya Doley murder case was brought to Gogamukh after his arrest in Guwahati on Tuesday. Rohan Patir, the self-styled chairman of the ‘Liberal Democratic Council of Misingland,’ was held in Guwahati as he reportedly entered Assam from an armed training camp in Myanmar.

Patir has been accused of killing Congress leader Hiranya Doley at Deka Pam in Dhemaji district last year. His arrest took place after Dhemaji Police nabbed three of his accomplices from a river island of the Brahmaputra recently. Patir and his outfit have been involved in extortion and kidnapping in Dhemaji district in the name of creating an independent ‘Misingland.’
