Short film competition on road safety|
GUWAHATI, Jan 6 - With an objective to create awareness on road safety and traffic rules, the Rajgarh Road-based North East Drama and Film Institute is organising a short film competition on road safety in association with the Narayana Hospital for the third consecutive year.
The regional level competition would have entries linked to the causes of road accidents, the common norms often flouted, drunk driving, ignoring the use of helmet or seatbelt, and many other issues concerning road safety in Guwahati.
The films can also suggest measures to stop such incidents as well as give powerful messages among the masses.
The entries with a prescribed length of 1 minute to 3 minute must be in MP4 format and MOV format. The last date of submission of entries is January 20. The films would be screened in different parts of the region from February 11.
The best film, best director, editor, sound recordist, cameraman, actor and child artiste, etc. would be given trophies, cash award, citation etc.
