Sainik School alumni to manage traffic island gardens

 GUWAHATI, Jan 3 - Old Boys Association of Sainik School Goalpara (OBA SSG) has taken up beautification of the flyover at Sixth Mile by managing the traffic island gardens on it.

Two traffic island gardens were inaugurated by Pradyut Choudhury, OSD of State PWD on January 1. Speaking on the occasion he praised OBA SSG for taking the initiative.

Brigadier (retired) Ranjit Borthakur who is also president of OBA SSG, said the organisation has been taking up different social activities since its inception and the organisation is committed to working for the betterment of society.

OBA SSG is a registered society of alumni of Sainik School Goalpara and it conducts different social activities like free medical health check-ups, plantation programmes, blood donation camps etc.
