|MSc nursing course launched in Manipur|
IMPHAL, Jan 2 - The first ever MSc nursing course was opened at the College of Nursing, Medical Directorate, Government of Manipur, on December 31 last year. Health and Family Welfare Minister L Jayantakumar Singh was the chief guest at the opening function of the course at the Health Directorate office in Lamphel.
The opening ceremony was also attended by the Director of Health Services, Manipur, Dr K Rajo Singh and the principal of the College of Nursing, Lamphelpat, Prof M Kumudini Devi.
Later, the minister also launched a free Viral Hepatitis C Care and Management Centre – which is the first of its kind in the State – at New Checkon Road in Imphal East district.
