Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, Feb 27 – The Assamese almanac Kalpurush Purnanga Panjika in its prediction for the New Year that commences in the month of Bohag, has indicated that the saffron party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has strong chances of ruling the country.

The 31st edition of the almanac that was released today at the Guwahati Press Club here, states that a man of knowledge who is also a bachelor, is going to form government at the Centre. The almanac also mentions that the BJP is going to win the heart and mind of the people of the country.

“At the national level, we see the rise of youth power as the third alternative front that would take everyone by surprise,” said Ranjit Kumar Saikia, publisher of the almanac. Demand for the Kalpurush Purnanga Panjika has been growing over the years because of the simplicity of language that makes it possible even for a layman to find out the auspicious dates for any function.
