TEZPUR, Feb 20 – The 2-day long State level 3rd Assam state tenshinkan karate seminar, organised by Tenshinkan Shotokan Karate Association and hosted by the Sonitpur District Karate Association, will be held on February 23 to 24 here at Holeswar stadium. President of host committee Rajen Barthakur and Sanjay Kumar Shaw outlining the programme stated that the first day would start with unfurling of the association’s flag. It will be followed by a basic karate training session.
Next day programmes include, referee training and black belt examination for the students. Karatekas from Lakhimpur, Sivasagar, Dhemaji, Jorhat, Sonitpur, Karbi Anglong and Arunachal Pradesh are expected to participate in the seminar. The organizers further informed that altogether 18 students from across the State will appear for the black belt examination.
The programme, will be graced by A grade kata judge of Asian Karate Federation and Kumite Referee, Sensai Hasarat Khan.
