Green Valley rally to beat Kochi outfit
Sports reporter
GUWAHATI, Feb 16 – Riding on two brilliant goals by Nigerian Salu Nurudeen Olawale, Green Valley Sports Club earned full points against Eagles Football Club of Kochi.

In a second division I-League match at Satindra Mohan Dev Stadium, Silchar today, the Kochi team made a flying start going ahead in the very third minute through Anoza Kelvin. Taking advantage of Green Valley defender Louis Nigi Ebami, Kelving cruised into the goal area and pushed home from a close range. But the Guwahati team hit back in the 14th minute when Nurudeen beat the opponent custodian with a sharp half volley from 18 yards.

After the change over, Nurudeen gave his team victory in the 68th minute anticipating a measured pass from Emannual. The margin could have been bigger had Emannual and Nurudeen not missed a couple of easy sitters.
