BSNL denies shutdown reports
STAFF REPORTER
GUWAHATI, Feb 15 - The BSNL has denied reports that it is going to shut down its services in the State.

Sandeep Govil, Chief General Manager, BSNL (Assam) denied the reports clarifying that BSNL is a 100 per cent government-owned PSU and is having a robust network infrastructure and according to TRAI, BSNL’s market share is improving day by day as compared to other private telecom operators.

“BSNL is providing various services to different categories of customers and there is no proposal of closure of BSNL services or the organisation too,” a BSNL statement said.

“We are planning to launch 4G services in Assam very soon. We request our customers not to pay attention to such rumour,” Govil said.
