BHUBANESWAR, Feb 14 - Odisha FC kept their play-offs chances alive by coming from behind to snatch a 2-1 win against NorthEast United FC here today.

With their play-offs chances over, NorthEast United yet again failed to deliver despite taking an early lead in the first half. The first half saw no clear superiority from either side although NorthEast United capitalised on their chance.
Martin Chaves put the visitors ahead in the 24th minute off a Federico Gallego free kick. Gallego’s chipped attempt found Chaves who carried it into the box and slotted it past Arshdeep Singh.
The Highlanders again came close to increasing the lead in the 34th minute. Gallego with an exquisite ball to Andy Keogh saw the latter shoot upon entering the area on the left but Arshdeep kept it under control.
It didn’t take much long for the hosts to equalise as Xisco Hernandez provided Nandhakumar Sekar on the left flank who sent in a cross into the six-yard box was blasted into the net by Manuel Onwu in the 46th minute.
Odisha finally took the lead for the first time in the match through Martin Perez Guedes in the 72nd minute.
The Highlanders remain ninth in the table with 13 points from 16 matches while Odisha with 24 points from 17 matches are in the fifth position.
