|Nagaland Govt asked to take austerity measures|
KOHIMA, Feb 14 - Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has expressed concern over the poor financial condition of the State and advised the government to take austerity measures.
A NPCC statement issued last evening alleged that the State Government was unable to pay salaries, maintain PDS, ICDS, old age pension and other national flagship schemes.
Despite this, the legislators travelled all over the world at the cost of tax payers money, it said and asked the government to take austerity measures to stabilise the financial condition of the State. – PTI
