Ajmal helping BJP
SILCHAR, Feb 10 - Minister of Industries and Commerce Siddeque Ahmed alleged that AIUDF supremo Maulana Badaruddin Ajmal is helping the BJP ahead of the Assembly elections in the State to fulfil his wish to create a situation like Kashmir where the BJP formed sa Government with the PDP.

He said that the AICC has declined options of alliance with the AIUDF and Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has also echoed the same. Talking to the mediapersons at Silchar Circuit House on Saturday, Siddeque said that Ajmal is acting on the shots called by the BJP. “Even before we sat for talks, Ajmal demanded 53 seats. This makes it clear that he wants to help the BJP by polarizing Muslim votes in the 2016 Assembly election,” the Minister said.
