Security tightened for PMs visit
 ITANAGAR, Feb 6 - Elaborate security arrangements have been made in the Arunachal Pradesh capital in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modis proposed visit here on Saturday next.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the much-awaited greenfield airport at Holongi and launch the 110-MW Pare Hydro Electric Project in Papum Pare district.

An advertisement released by the Arunachal Pradesh Government stated that the Prime Minister will inaugurate the retrofitted airport at Tezu (in Lohit district) and launch the new Doordarshan channel Arun Prabha, a 24x7 news channel at a public function at the Indira Gandhi Park here on Saturday.

Modi will also lay the foundation stones of the Sela Tunnel in Tawang district, the National Film and Television Institute at Jote, and seven 132/33 KV and twenty-four 33/11 KV substations under the comprehensive scheme for strengthening the transmission and distribution system.
