GUWAHATI, Feb 5 - A delegation of the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) today met SEBA Chairman RC Jain and Secretary Suranjana Senapati urging them to ensure an error-free HSLC/AHM examination, which is starting from February 10.

The AASU delegation submitted a memorandum to the Board officials over the issue.

“The Board examinations are considered crucial in a student’s life. Thus, it is very important on the part of the authorities to make sure that from conducting the examinations smoothly across the State to announcing error-free and timely results, everything is meticulously planned and executed. No student should face any problem in this regard,” the AASU memorandum mentioned.

The student body also requested the Board to take strict measures so that students cannot resort to unfair practices during exams and the sanctity of Board examinations remains intact.

On the same day, the AASU team also met AHSEC controller of examination Pankaj Borthakur and submitted a memorandum with similar demands in view of the ensuing HS final examination.

“It is very important to conduct error-free Matric and HS final examinations and assure our candidates and their parents about a smooth and fair exam process,” the student body opined.
