All Bathou Mahasabha conference begins today

 JALAH, Feb 5 – The 10th conference of the All Bathou Mahasabha will be held at Gaonraj Pathan at Simla in Baksa district with a colourful four-day programme from February 6 to 9. The conference has been organised by the Paschim Baksa district All Bathou Mahasabha.

The first day’s programme will begin with opening of the main gate by Buddhi Nazary, executive member of BTC.

Upen Basumatary memorial Bandanashala will be inaugurated by Mwnthir Chandra Boro, ex-president of Paschim Baksa district Bathou Mahasabha. The late Jogendra Nath Basumatary Memorial dining hall will be opened by Manas Das, BDO of Jalah Development Block and delegate camp will be formally inaugurated by Gajen Brahma, social worker. The late Jogendra Kumar Basumatary memorial delegates’ hall will be inaugurated by Harihar Brahma, social worker while the late Rati Kanta Gayary memorial exhibition camp will be opened by Ranjit Kherkatary, MCLA of BTC, the late Bhaben Phwarwngiri memorial pandal will be inaugurated by Jagamohan Barkachary, ex-MLA of Chapaguri LAC and late Rameswar Swargiary memorial guest house will be inaugurated by Moonsing Brahma, MCLA of BTC. After the Bathou Bandana, the delegates sitting will be inaugurated by Gobinda Narzary, vice-president of the reception committee, while the constitution will be inaugurated by Parameswar Brahma, president of All Bathou Mahasabha and the mouthpiece will be inaugurated by Bashistha Baro, advisor of All Bathou Mahasabha.

The second days’ programme will begin with the flag hoisting of All Bathou Mahasabha by Parameswar Brahma, president of All Bathou Mahasabha. It will be followed by smriti tarpan by Narad Chandra Mushahary, vice president of All Bathou Mahasabha. The souvenir of the 10th conference of All Bathou Mahasabha will be inaugurated by Dwarendra Iswrary, vice president of All Bathou Mahasabha. The open session of Laimwn Afad will be presided over by Muluk Mung Buhum Basumatary, president of Laimuwn Afad and the meeting will be inaugurated by Khampha Bargayary, deputy chief executive member of BTC, Parameswar Brahma, president of All Bathou Mahashabha as chief guest, Gahin Chandra Boro, ex-joint secretary of Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Krisna Kanta Boro, organising secretary of All Bathou Mahasabha, Aswini Gayari, deputy registrar of Bodoland University, Kokrajhar and Birkhang Narzary as appointed speakers, Ansumai Boro, MCLA of BTC, Maneswar Brahma, MLA of Barama LAC, Ramani Daimary, president of Salbari district BPF committee, Arabinda Basumatary, president of Salbari District Boro Sahitya Sabha, Deobar Ramchiary, secretary of Baksa district Boro Sahitya Sabha and Mantumani Ramchiary, ex-president of Barpeta district, Boro Sahitya Sabha will attend the occasion. Late Uttam Chandra Kharkatary memorial cultural night will be inaugurated by Dr Leeladhar Brahma, chief cultural secretary of All Bathou Mahasabha. The third day’s programme will begin with a cultural procession to be flagged off by Biswajit Daimary, MP Rajya Sabha.

The open session of Marino Afad will be presided over by Phuleswari Narzary, president of Mainao Afad and the meeting will be inaugurated by Chandan Brahma, Minister of Transport Rupnath Basumatary, Founder president of All Bathou Mahasabha as chief guest, Sunita Daimary, Advisor of Mairao Afad, Junu Swargiary, speaker of Manao Afad, Lakshmimai Khakhlary, president of Karbi Anglong Mainao Afad and Anchumai Khakhlary, vice president of Mainao Afad as appointed speakers, Champabati Kherkatary, advisor of Mainao Afad, Ganesh Kachary, EM of BTC, Deben Boro, EM of BTC, Moonsing Brahma, MCLA of BTC, Makhan Swargiary, MCLA of BTC, Gobinda Basumatary, president of Mathanguri TCLCC, Atul Swargiary, president of Baksa district Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Dambarudhar Basumatary, secretary of Salbari District Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Ambar Kumar Narzary, principal of Salbari Higher Secondary School and Gargaswar Boro, principal of Chapaguri Kaklabari College, Hazua will attend the occasion. The cultural night will be inaugurated by Gajen Hazowary, Asstt Secretary of All Bathou Makasabha.

The 4th day’s programme will begin with the late Babhen Narzary memorial mass prayer by Sansuma Khungur Bwismuthiary, MP of Kokrajhar. The open session will be presided over by Paraneswar Brahma, president of All Bathou Mahasabha while the meeting will be inaugurated by Hagrama Mohilary, Chief Executive member of BTC. Ramesh Chuba of West Bengal (13th generation member of the king Naranarayana’s Koch dynasty) will attend as chief guest. Kanteswar Bargary, chief organising secretary of All Bathou Mahasabha, Ghanashyam Swargiary, adviser of All Bathou Mahasabha as appointed speakers.
