Sanjiv, Ishani bag titles

 DIGBOI, Feb 2 – The 34th edition of the prestigious All Assam Amateur Golf Championship concluded at the Golf Links of Digboi recently. Sanjiv Jaiswal, from Guwahati beat his nearest rival Ajay Shukla to take away the championship trophy in the men’s category.

On the other hand, in the women’s category, Ishani Chakraborty of Digboi emerged the winner while Dibya Moktan was the runners-up. The tournament saw the participation of 257 golfers both in the men’s and women’s category from across the country including Mumbai, Jharkhand, Dubai and Canada. The prize distribution ceremony was attended by A Panda, ED, AOD, Digboi, who gave away the championship trophy together with the president and secretary of the AAAGC, SP Bordoloi, general manager, AOD among others. The event was held under the aegis of the Upper Assam Golf Association.
