The Governor stressed the need of exploiting the full hydropower potential of the State, which, he said, would benefit the State as well as the nation. He also stressed on solar energy projects for far-flung places in the State, which would improve amenities for the people and arrest the migration of people from the border areas to city centres.

The Governor also requested Singh, who is also the Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, to set up skill development and entrepreneurship centres in Arunachal Pradesh, where new innovative ideas will be imparted to youths along with traditional expertise. “Such an initiative will encourage entrepreneurship and self-employment among the youths and also preserve and protect traditional art and craft,” he said.
