Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, Jan 31 – Alcheringa 2011, the annual cultural festival of IIT Guwahati will feature RDB: Live in Concert on February 4.

RDB, which stands for Rhythm Dhol Bass, brought different musical styles together and fused them with Punjabi folk music ultimately constructing the “RDB sound”. They have worked alongside several celebrity singers and actors, not only in the East, but also in the West.

One of the leading Punjabi music groups in the world, RDB has been created by three Punjabi Sikh brothers Kuly, Manj and Surj. These British born talents were introduced to music at a very young age and have grown to create a niche for themselves. Their music features deep meaningful lyrics along with anthem-like melodies, a press release stated.

With almost a decade of hits under their belt, millions of sales worldwide and having toured all corners of the earth RDB’s artistic ability now hits Guwahati with Alcheringa 2011.
