Mising Journalists’ Trust constituted

 SILAPATHAR, Dec 25 - Mising Journalists’ Trust was constituted with Royal Pegu of Jonai as president, Jipen Doley of Guwahati and Madurya Doley of Itanagar as vice presidents, Gunadhar Doley of Silapathar as general secretary, Pawan Kaman of Golaghat and Hitesh Kumar Doley of Majuli as assistant general secretaries, Jyotish Kumar Patir of Dibrugarh as magazine secretary, Loviram Bori of Silapathar as treasurer, Gautam Pegu of Jonai, Rajiv Patir of Majuli, Bristi Panging of Dimow, Charan Jimey of Silapathar, Mohan Panging of Dimow, Bhaskar Jyoti Tayeng of Jonai, Deben Tayung of Jonai as executive members, Dinanath Panging of Moran), Hemanta Loying of Golaghat, Biren Panging of Jorhat as general members and Suren Bori of Golaghat, Runjun Regon of Guwahati, Manuranjan Bori of Guwahati, Bijoy Bori of Jonai and Narayan Pao of Jonai as advisers.

The meeting was presided over by Bijoy Bori, which was held at Jengraimukh College, Majuli. Several resolutions were taken in the meet for overall safeguard of journalists. The meeting resolved to open a bank account, besides adopting several other important resolutions.

The Mising Journalists’ Trust was constituted for the overall benefit and collective welfare of journalists of the Mising community.
