River Rine in semifinals

 GUWAHATI, Dec 16 – River Rine Cricket Coaching Centre is through to the semifinals of the Aswini Rajbongshi Trophy Ankurjyoti Challenge U-14 Cricket Tournament.

In a group league match of the championship at the Latasil playground here today, River Rine CCC posted a seven-wicket victory against South Point School. Restricting the opponent to 130 for seven in the stipulated 20 overs, River Rine boys cracked 133 for three with three balls to spare.

In the other match of the day, White Feather got a walkover against Faculty HS School.

Brief scores: South Point 130/7 (Abinash Terang 41, Debabrata Shil 39, Tafique Ahmed 23, Mithilesh Rai 2/24). River Rine 133/3 (Abhijit Rabha 31, Bakul Rabha 30, Bishal Maheswari 27, Rohit Kr Sarma 21, Ayush Bali 2/18).

Today’s matches: South Point vs Sarla Birla.
