New health service launched in Manipur

 IMPHAL, Dec 15 - Integrated Health Information Platform (IHIP) for Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) was launched in Manipur.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Langpoklakpam Jayantakumar Singh launched the programme in the presence of Principal Secretary (Health) Vumlunmang Vaulnum and Director (Health Services) Dr K Rajo Singh at his conference hall at the State Secretariat South Block here.

Launching the programme, Minister Jayantakumar said that this is a new initiative in the field of health sector which will benefit the people of the state to a large extent.

It may be recalled that Manipur becomes the eighth State in India after Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala and Andra Pradesh and first in the entire North-eastern region to implement such scheme.
