Govt taking steps to create jobs: Tripura CM

 AGARTALA, Dec 15 - Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today said that his government has taken steps to create jobs for the youths.

 While speaking at the inaugural function of ‘Temple of Meditation and Sneha Milan Utsav’ at Brahma Kumari’s Ganoday Bhawan here, he said over one lakh aspirants had applied for the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET), but only 1,100 could crack it.

“There are a large number of vacant posts lying in the Education department and the government is trying to fill up at the earliest.”

Chief Minister also said that Tripura has witnessed a massive change in the education sector.

“Our intention is to provide quality education to our children so that they can become self-reliant.
