GUWAHATI, Dec 14 - The Guwahati Management Association (GMA) in collaboration with the Calcutta Management Association (CMA), both pioneer management bodies in their respective regions and both affiliated to the All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi, jointly organised a symposium on ‘Money skills – opportunities and risk management in commodity markets’ for the first time in the North East at NEDFi House here on December 12.
Investment in ‘Capital market’ was also another important topic of the symposium.
The welcome speech was delivered by GMA president DN Barua. Ramen Barua, Executive Director of CMA and Anirban Bhattacharjee, General Manager of CMA, spoke on the activities of CMA.
The guest of honour was B Paul Muktieh, CMD, NEDFi. The vote of thanks was given by D Gohain, honorary general secretary of GMA.
A few top experts who spoke on the subject were Pokhraj Luinkar, V Tandon and A Guha. The event was supported by the Numaligarh Refinery and MCX. The participants were from top business houses, government officials, investors, bank officials, students, etc., stated a press release.
