Mobile theatre attract crowds at Nalbari Raas

 NALBARI, Dec 8 – Massive crowds of visitors were witnessed on Friday on the premises of Sri Sri Harimandir where the famed Raas festival has been under way since November 28.

The mobile theatres staging their shows at the Nalbari Raas festival have also been attracting visitors. A total of eight mobile theatre groups are performing up to three shows per night. According to sources, the plays Jabab of Brindaban Theatre, Majanir Manar Manuh of Rajtilak Theatre, Bijoya Dashami of Hengool, Rajnitee of Itihash Theatre, Duchaku of Bhagyadevi Theatre and Chakupani of Rajashree have added to the surge in the crowds visiting the Nalbari Raas.

The ‘swaraj mela’ organised by the Nalbari District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) in which about 40 self-help groups took part and displayed their products. The Nalbari Raas Mahotsav will come to an end on the night of December 9.
