Royal CC emerge champions

 GUWAHATI, Dec 6 - With a convincing 48-run victory against hosts River Rine Club, Royal Cricket Club emerged champions in the 2nd Chandradhar Deka Memorial River Rine T-20 Invitational Prize-money Cricket Tournament.

In the final played at the Judges’ Field here today, Royal CC gathered 138 for nine and in reply River Rine Club were all out for 90.

Brief scores: Royal CC 138/9 (Arnab Choudhury 28, Sujay Tarafdar 25, Swarupam Purkasthya 20; Vicky Rajak 2/17, Amit Yadav 2/24, Rama Jaiswal 2/31). River Rine 90 (Sanjib Dutta 15; Pusparaj Sharma 3/19, Swarupam Purkasthya 2/14, Mantu Das 2/17, Sekharjyoti Barman 2/20).
