Silchar dist Cong demands ban on Hindu Sanghati
 SILCHAR, Dec 6 - The heated speeches by Tapan Ghosh, the founder of Hindu Sanghati and national president of the organisation Debtanu Bhattacharjee have drawn serious flak from all quarters. Following the cases filed at Guwahati and Nagaon and even in Silchar, the District Congress Committee here have lashed out hard at the leader duo for spreading hateful communal remarks in Silchar during a recent meeting of the organisation at Narsingtola.

Rajdip Goala, the lone Congress MLA from Barak Valley’s Lakhipur constituency has slammed the leaders demanding a ban on the organisation from hosting such meetings in the valley in the future. “We condemn the inflammatory speeches and comments made by the leaders of the organisation and demand a ban on the right-wing body for hosting such meetings in Barak Valley in the future.

Barak Valley is an island of peace and people from different communities here live in mutual coexistence,” Goala maintained.  

On the other hand, Partha Ranjan Chakraborty, chairman, media cell, District Congress Committee, also criticised the Hindu Sanghati for the inflammatory remarks.
