|Hornbill Fest enters fifth day|
KOHIMA, Dec 5 - Around 70,000 visitors, including foreign, domestic and local tourists have witnessed the first four days of the 10-day long Hornbill Festival 2016 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
The Festival, also christened the Festival of festivals showcasing the coming together of the different Naga tribes, is a 10-day long annual event of the State Government organised by Tourism department and other allied departments.
Till the fourth-day yesterday, a total of 63,929 visitors, including 757 foreigners, 7396 domestic and 55,776 locals witnessed the festival, according to an official statistics issued by Tourist Officer of Department of Tourism, Toka E Tuccumi here.
Yesterday being Sunday, Kisama had the highest number of visitors at 32,343 with 122 foreign tourists, 2221 domestic and 30,000 locals. – PTI
