Raphael Kujur retained as AASAA chief
 DIBRUGARH, Dec 1 – The general body of the All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam (AASAA) re-elected Raphael Kujur and Joseph Minj to the posts of central president and general secretary respectively at its meeting held in Veer Birsa Munda Bhawan at Kadam in Lakhimpur district, a press here release stated.

 The two-day meeting of the AASAA was attended by about 300 members of the student organisation. The assembly elected a total of forty-three members to various posts in the AASAA central executive body.

Wilfred Topno, advisor to the AASAA central body acted as the chief election officer. He was assisted in the election process by Wilson Hasda, Barnabas Kindo and Godfrey Hereh. The elections were conducted after the previous central body was formally dissolved.
