ITBP conducts tour for Arunachal students

 GUWAHATI, April 24 An educational excursion was organised under civic action programme by the 33 Battalion, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Guwahati, to Agra and back for students of remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh, a Press release said.

The tour, consisting of 20 students and two teachers, was flagged off by RK Saini, Inspector General, North- East Frontier, ITBP on April 11 from Shillong.

The team visited historical and tourist places of Delhi and Agra and also met President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

On their return, a flag-in ceremony was held at NE Transit Camp of ITBP at Jalukbari here where appreciation certificates were presented to the students.
