Governor to visit Tinsukia today

 TINSUKIA, April 23 – Governor Janaki Ballav Patnaik is scheduled to arrive Tinsukia on a two-day visit from April 24.

Tomorrow he will inaugurate the Public Grievance and Application Centre and IT Training Centre at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office complex and release of Ready Reckoner of Development Schemes (in Assamese) and a survey report on Tea Garden Areas at the Circuit House here. Announcing this, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Binod Seshan in a press meet held at the Conference Hall of the office of the Deputy Commissioner here today also stated that on April 25 the Governor will visit Chapakhowa (Sadiya) and unveil the marble statue of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at the Chapakhowa Circuit House complex.

The Governor would also inaugurate the service of a milk collecting vehicle to be used for the milk producers of the area, informed the Additional Deputy Commissioner.
