BJP Manipur unit observing a ‘fast to save Indian democracy’ in Imphal on Thursday in protest against the disruption of Parliament’s Budget session allegedly by opposition party MPs in both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. – Correspondent
 IMPHAL, April 12 - As a mark of protest against the disruption of Parliament’s Budget Session allegedly by opposition party MPs in both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, BJP Manipur Pradesh observed a ‘fast to save Indian democracy’ here on Thursday.

Displaying festoons which read, ‘Parliament is a temple not a fish market,’ ‘Disturb Parliament to please the enemy,’ ‘No bills passed-development in peril’, ‘Voters sent you to perform, not to yawn & yell,’ Manipur BJP-in-charge and Lok Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh Prahlad Singh Patel, and BJP State unit president K Bhabananda led the saffron party at the protest fast. Several Ministers, MLAs and party leaders participated in the fast.
