River Rine down Navarang

 GUWAHATI, April 7 – River Rine got the better of Navarang Club by six wickets in GSA A Division Cricket Tournament for the Bhupen Chandra Mahanta Trophy.

In a well contested encounter at the Nehru Stadium here today, Navarang managed to build a modest total of 154 losing all the wickets in 30.1 overs. Pritam Debnath was their top scorer with 68 while Ronak Buche added 27.

River Rine had no difficulty in chasing the target as they hit 155 for four in 33 overs.

Brief scores: Navarang 154 (Pritam Debnath 68, Ronak Bucha 27, Mantu Das 3/31, Abuddin Khan 2/2, Raju Kalita 2/43). River Rine 155/4 (Rohit Sharma 40, Ranjeet Changmai 33, Javed Zaman 3/24). Today’s match (S/F): City CC vs Nabajyoti.
