 GUWAHATI, April 2 – Shrimanta Shankar Academy and Faculty HS School earned full points in their respective group league matches of the Nabin Chandra Tamuly Inter School Cricket Tournament being played at the Nehru Stadium here today.

In the day’s first match, Shrimanta Shankar Academy trounced Royal Global School by nine wickets while in the second encounter Faculty HSS edged past South Point School by 10 runs.

Brief scores: Royal Global 84 (Hashmi R Islam 22, Ankurjyoti Saikia 2/9, Sohail Hussain Choudhury 2/11). Shankar Academy 88/1 (Tanuz Kalita 45, Arshad Khan 26).

Faculty HSS 111 (Abhishek Agasti 41, Chiranjib Borah 21, Anirban Roy 3/15, Joydeep Singh 3/17, Dhruvraaj Borah 2/31). South Point 101 (Manish Kr Bharti 32, Kumar Kashyap 3/16, Chiranjib Borah 2/33).
