Wokha DC prohibits smoking in public places
 DIMAPUR, March 20 - Wokha Deputy Commissioner Wezope Kenye has prohibited smoking in public places, direct and indirect advertisement of cigarettes and other tobacco products and sale of tobacco products to minors, within 100 yards of any educational institution.

The DC has also directed mandatory depiction of pictorial health warning on tobacco package under Wokha district with immediate effect.

The district administration is also appointing Enforcing Officers to impose and collect fine against the violators of the Act.
