RD Rajkhowa GUWAHATI, Sept 13 – Captain RD Rajkhowa (Miki) passed away on September 11 at Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai. Starting his career after qualifying at Duffrein, he joined the merchant navy. With his experience of two decades of captaincy of foreign going ships, he started his own shipping company in 1990 named Procyn Shipping and Investment Co Pvt Ltd, which finally became Procyn Offshore Services Pvt Ltd, the sale of which two years back attracted CNBC news coverage. The other company started by him is Venture Maritime Inc. He was 61. Captain Rajkhowa leaves behind his wife, one son and one daughter.
