GB Dutta GUWAHATI, Sept 2 – Noted social worker and a retired executive engineer of the State Water Resource department, Gopika Ballav Dutta, passed away at a city nursing home on Tuesday after a brief illness. He was 81. He leaves behind his wife, two sons and a daughter. His death was widely mourned in the Panchawati locality.
