Fed Cup organising body formed Sports Reporter GUWAHATI, Oct 11 The Assam Football Association (AFA) in its governing body meeting held today, has constituted the organising committee for the forthcoming Federation Cup championship to be held here in the second week of December. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has been named as chief patron, while Sports Minister Bharat Chandra Narah has been made president. AFA president Hemendra Nath Brahma and secretary Ankur Dutta were nominated as working president and organizing secretary respectively. The meeting also decided to send the State team for the T Ao Trophy football tournament to be held at Dimapur from November 2. The AFA meeting also resolved to hold referees seminar in order to uplift the standard of football referring in the State.
