New daily in Shillong CORRESPONDENT SHILLONG, Nov 28 – The third local English daily of Meghalaya, The Mawphor Today, was formally launched here today by Assembly Speaker Bindo Lanong.
Mawphor today becomes the third English daily to be published from the State capital.
Editor of the new daily Loniak Marbaniang assured during the inauguration that The Mawphor Today would endeavour to publish reports accurately and without prejudice.
The daily would hit the stands on a regularly basis in January.
