Army chief to visit Germany
 NEW DELHI, Nov 9 - Army Chief General Deepak Kapoor will be on a three-day visit to Germany starting Wednesday to strengthen defence relations between the two countries. Kapoor, who is on a four-day visit to Israel, will arrive in Germany at a time when it is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Army officials said. - PTI

 GUWAHATI, Nov 9 - NDFB militant Mridul Goyari, an accused in last year's October 30 twin blasts at Barpeta Road that claimed 21 lives, was apprehended by the police from Tezpur in Sonitpur district today. The militant was handed over to CBI officials here who had chargesheeted him for his alleged involvement in the incident. - PTI
