Jiban Phukan GUWAHATI, Nov 4 – Sri Jiban Phukan (Bhetu), a noted citizen of Jorhat and a resident of the Malow Ali area, passed away at the Mission Hospital, Jorhat at 5.45 am this morning. He was 75. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son. Phukan was associated with various organisations of Jorhat and was known for his flair in the field of sports and drama. His death has cast a pall of gloom in the area.
