India Club to host tennis meet
GUWAHATI, Nov 1 The Silver Drop 12th India Club Open Tennis Championship will be organised by the India Club at its own courts here from November 8 to 14, informed joint secretary, tennis, Rajeeb Bora. A total amount of Rs 1,00,000 is at stake as prize-money in the championship which has been organised under the aegis of All Assam Tennis Association and it will be a ranking tournament. Events like boys U-10, U-12, U-14, U-18, girls U-10, U-12, U-14, U-18, mens singles, mens doubles, veteran doubles in the age group of above 35, 45 and 55 years will be conducted in the meet, stated a press release.
