State film maker invited to Germany fest GUWAHATI, July 15 States filmmaker and cinematographer Moulee Senapati has been invited to the Indian Film Festival: Bollywood and Beyond, being held from July 16 to 20 at Stuttgart, Germany, as a delegate filmmaker.
In the festival organised by Filmbuero Baden-Wuerttemberg, Moulee, an alumnus of the Pune-based Film and Television Institute of India, will get the scope to screen his documentary Children of The River: The Xihus of Assam in the competitive section. Moulee is the director and cinematographer of the film, said a press release. The release further said that the film, produced and scripted by noted journalist Sanjoy Hazarika, is the only film from the North-east to be screened at the competitive section of the festival.
