3 NDFB ultras killed in Kokrajhar Correspondent KOKRAJHAR, Jan 19 – Three anti-talk NDFB cadres of the Ranjan Daimary faction were killed in two separate encounters in Kokrajhar district during the last 12 hours. According to police sources, an encounter took place today at about 11 am at Bongshijhora area under Parbatijhora Sub division in Kokrajhar district following which two anti-talk faction cadres of NDFB were killed on the spot. Army and police subsequently nabbed three women cadres along with one linkman from the area. They also recovered one AK-56, 30 rounds of live ammunition, one magzine and one Chinese-made hand grenade.
In yet another encounter at Amlaiguri village under Salakati police station yesterday at about 8.45 pm, police recovered one-9 mm Italian-made pistol and five rounds of live ammunitions from slain militant Ananta Brahma, (20) Paschina police sources informed.
