2 ultras killed IMPHAL, Jan 18 Two insurgents were killed in an encounter with Assam Rifles personnel in Manipurs interior Ukhrul district bordering Myanmar, police sources said today.
The exchange of fire between the two sides occured while the Assam Rifles personnel were patrolling Kamjong area in the district yesterday.
Two rifles with several rounds of ammunition, one hand grenade and one wireless set were recovered from the spot. Their bodies have been sent for post mortem. PTI
