Seminar on industrial safety GUWAHATI, Jan 7 The Inspectorate of Factories, Government of Assam in association with the Directorate General, Factory Advice Service & Labour Institutes, Mumbai, is organising a national seminar on Best Practices in Occupational Safety and Health in Industries in the city on January 9.
Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, Minister of Labour & Employment P Majhi and the Commissioner & Secretary, Labour & Employment Department, KK Mittal the Director General, DGFASLL, besides other dignitaries from all over the country from various organisations like National Disaster Management Authority, New Delhi, Chief Inspector of Factories from other states, factory management of some major accident hazard units are to participate in the seminar, said a press release.
The seminar will be held at the Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara premises.
